Hi, I'm Chris!
Licensed to sell real estate since 2001, I bring over 23 years of full-time real estate experience to the table.
Over this period, I've amassed extensive experience selling hundreds of new and resale homes working for local and national home builders and while operating Indian Springs Real Estate, my personal and independent real estate office inside the Big Rock Pub & Golf Clubhouse at Indian Springs.
I started my real estate career as member of the sales team building over 700 homes at Indian Springs Golf Club. Following the sell out of Indian Springs, I joined Shea Homes becoming the Assistant Sales Manager at Trilogy La Quinta, where I oversaw, trained, and motivated a team that was as big as 14 salespeople at one point while selling their last 800 homes. My tenure with Shea Homes provided me with priceless professional training and experience that has been invaluable to my clients throughout my career.
After closing out Trilogy, I opened Indian Springs Real Estate where I offer real estate services for buyers, sellers, rentals, and vacation homes. Since opening my office in 2010, I have helped hundreds of families buy and sell homes in addition to operating a vacation home/seasonal rental business, helping book my client's investment and vacation homes in our peak winter months.
My approach to real estate is very serious with a calm and causal demeanor. My commitment to excellence is demonstrated through high-quality marketing with professional photography, 3D virtual tours, drone photos, and videos. ???Where's Waldo??? Can you find: 1) The Dogs 2) Me 3) The Seller's Hands When making 3D virtual tours of our listings, I can't edit them like normal photos. I have to be extra careful to not be in the camera's view or be seen as a reflection in any mirrors or I'm in there for good. When shooting my latest new listing, the seller obviously did not read my pre-photoshoot checklist and remained present with their very hyper and curious dogs. Throughout the shoot, I was shoo'ing the seller and their dogs and eventually gave up with the dogs. It was distracting, resulting in me losing focus and not noticing myself in one of the scans. It was a lost 1, listed 2, closed 1 kinda day! Whew! Even though it was an awesome day closing a $1.1M sale and picking up two new listings, I'm stoked for my sellers who canceled their listing. It was a tough sell for them and they ended up deciding to stay which was another highlight for me... even though I didn't make a dime for all my work. They offered to pay me for my time and expenses, but I declined as I always do. You see, in real estate, we help people with their housing needs, even if they need to stay. I'm 100% alright when someone decides to stay put and enjoy the home they have! I love helping people and selling homes. New Real Estate Laws can put buyers at legal and financial risk! The requirement of buyers to sign a compensation agreement before looking at homes will cause the skeptical buyer and especially a new unseasoned buyer (on a budget) to shy away from that commitment and into open houses unrepresented. If they end up liking the home, the sellers agent will offer to help them write an offer as unrepresented buyers, and probably at a discounted rate that is less than what may have been discussed with a buyers agent. The big problem with this scenario is that the sellers agent is NOT OBLIGATED to represent the buyers' best interests, opening the door for the seller and their agent to take advantage of this unrepresented buyer potential putting them at risk of a lot more than possibly losing tens of thoushands of dollars!! Remember, advice and opinions are cheap, and many times free from the unexperinced, but experience is priceless, which could save you a lot more than just money!Button

Some are easier than others, but not this one! I sold this home twice to get it closed in record time which may sound easy, but this was a lot of work during record heat! We received a great offer within 3 days and they backed out to buy a smaller less expensive home. I received another offer 2 days after re-posting the listing and this time it was an all-cash 14-day close! However easy that sounds, read on.... I received this home to list dirty, and with a few odd leftover furniture pieces. To put it nicely, it was showing its age and it didn't look good. When facing a challenge like this, I say to myself, start paddling and ride the wave, you never know where you will end up! So I went home, grabbed some cleaning supplies, started cleaning and moving the remaining pieces into place. When I was done and took pictures, I was deflated and disappointed at what I was about to post. So, I hit reset and returned the next day to do more staging and prepping, bringing a few things from my house. While there, past clients of ours (living across the street who are stagers), saw my predicament and offered to help. By the end of the next day, they had the home staged, decorated, and looking very cute and loveable! As other homes sit and wait to sell, there is NO DOUBT in my mind that I could not have sold this home TWICE in such a short time without their magical touch! They took this home from drab and dreary to bright and cheery within 24 hours!
